The kitchen is the focal point of this design, featuring a sleek, waterfall-edge island crafted from white quartz, paired with state-of-the-art stainless-steel appliances and custom white cabinetry, offering both style and practicality. The carefully selected lighting fixtures, including a striking geometric chandelier above the island, add a touch of modern elegance, enhancing the ambiance of the space. Large windows bring in ample natural light and provide unobstructed views of the backyard while creating a seamless connection between the indoors and outdoors. Upon entering the home, a beautiful glass staircase with modern metal hardware immediately catches the eye, setting the tone for the sophisticated design that follows throughout the home. This entryway design exudes openness and enhances the sense of height and space, drawing visitors in. Every detail in this project, from the minimalist furniture choices to the subtle décor accents, speaks to a design philosophy that values both form and function. This project features a stunning transformation of a classic residential home into a modern and inviting space. The focal point of the design is the beautifully crafted wooden staircase that serves as a centerpiece in the open-plan layout, blending seamlessly into the living areas. The bright, airy foyer introduces natural light, enhanced by the minimalist décor and sleek finishes. The living room, with its elegant stone fireplace and large glass doors, opens up to a serene backyard with a pool. The interiors combine contemporary elements, warm wood tones, and soft furnishings, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. The seamless integration of nature-inspired décor and modern architecture defines this elegant home renovation.

These residential projects were designed during my tenure at Perspecto Design Studio, a firm primarily focused on renovating family houses and basements. In these projects, I aimed to enhance the spatial relationships within the basements, creating more functional and inviting living areas. To address the common issue of limited natural light, I employed strategic use of colors and accent walls, compensating for the lack of daylight and adding visual interest. One of the primary challenges in all these projects was to balance compliance with building codes while meeting the unique needs and preferences of each client. By thoughtfully redesigning these spaces, I was able to transform them into more cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environments, demonstrating a keen understanding of both regulatory requirements and client satisfaction.
